The Cotter congregation has supported Brother Jerry Morgan in the mission field for the past 13 years, but he has been doing this a little longer than that. Over the course of 33 years Jerry Morgan has taken the Gospel to 52 foreign countries. For the past ten years, Jerry has been particularly involved with Russia and the Ukraine. We are blessed to be able to assist Jerry's work to establish congregations in areas of the world where the Gospel is limited. Jerry keeps us informed of his work through monthly newsletters to our congregation and occasional visits.

Jerry also organizes support for orphanges in the Ukraine. Many brothers and sisters at Cotter assist him in this work. He sends boxes of provisions to ten orphanges in Kremenchuk, Ukraine yearly. These boxes are filled with medicine, hygiene products, clothing, school supplies, toys, blankets, shoes, and sewing supplies. Cotter Church of Christ has been supporting the City of Children in Ensenada, Mexico for the past thirty-five years. This is a Christian orphange in Mexico which cares for many children who need a home. The Cotter congregation is kept up to date with newsletters from the orphanage.

The Sourthern Christian Children's Home is also an orphange which the congregation at Cotter supports. Several times a year, the home picks up a barrel of donated food and supplies which the brothers and sisters at Cotter have collected.

This past year the Church at Cotter has undertaken a new work. Brad Cobb has taken a leap of faith to become a minister of God. The elders at Cotter felt we would be blessed to assist Brad and his family while he receives instruction at the Bible Institute of Missouri.
